They are derived from the best of English grammar and speaking styles.
1. Add one more point
As an adult, I enjoy being in the company of my peers and having get-together. So I am really outgoing in many ways. And one more thing, I am good with kids. |
2. A, B and C template
In addition to working as a driving instructor, I take the disabled to places of interest such as museums, parks and leisure centers. |
3. Contrast template
I sometimes feel the need to relax by the beach, and some other times I tend to find peace and comfort on my sofa with a cup of coffee, but listening to light music is like no other. |
4. Partly-mainly template
I am interested in action films partly because they are interesting, and mainly because they show all my favorite movie stars.
|
5. “On the other hand” template
On the one hand, I think that cooking is an art, and on the other hand I assume that it gives us women a sense of achievement in the kitchen.
|
6. Numeration template
I want to learn a few widely-spoken languages well and there are some reasons why. Firstly, languages are tools of communication among nations. Secondly, knowing another language makes me feel close to the people of the target country. And finally, I need foreign languages to be able to do business on a global basis. |
7. Parallel template
My father is a real family man. In other words, not only does he know his responsibilities as a father, but also he spares no effort to perform them. Besides, he is an educated man of books and experience. However, in some cases he is very strict. For instance, he is totally against my having a girlfriend!
|
8. Dilemma template
Regarding how to spend my time on weekends, I have always had a dilemma: whether to take part in family gatherings or to watch my favorite serials. My preference is the latter because of two reasons. Firstly, serials are both entertaining and educational. Secondly, in family get-together, there is always someone to ruin the good time.

9. Adjective clause template 1.
My room which faces a yard full of trees and flowers is my haven in the hustle and bustle of this huge city. In other words, whenever I am tired of daily activities in the office, or whenever I feel exhausted in the traffic, I crave for the serenity of my room. Along with laptop, armchair and desk, my personal library which is replete with books of different languages gives me a great feeling of both pleasure and confidence. |
10. Adjective clause template 2.
My mother who is a paragon of motherhood and devotion has always been there for me in the ups and downs of life. In other words, she has gone to extremes, whenever necessary, to provide me with a better life. She is in her forties, which means she is experienced and capable at the same time to protect me. By “capable” I mean she is not too old not be physically agile. Gods may keep all mothers safe.

11. Tenses template
In my childhood, many things were totally different from what they are now. To begin with, families were bigger. I mean half a dozen of brothers and sisters under the same roof would bring about joy, a sense of belonging and heavenly intimacy which now is a rare commodity. Besides, tall buildings of many apartments were not common as they are now. In other words, one- story houses with yards and all gave people a kind of privacy which we lack in the mayhem of apartments now. And more importantly, many traditions had not been forgotten then. For instance, as the spring turned to summer, people cracked open the wine bottles they had prepared long before and they gathered in an open area to playfully pour water on one another.
