My favorite country is Singapore which is located in south-east of Asia. It is a tiny land beside Malaysia. In fact, it was a part of Malaysia before it was purchased by an English merchant and turned into a port. (geographical position) What is outstanding about Singapore is its quality of life. In other words, it is said that out of every six people in this land, one is a millionaire. (outstanding feature) I respect this small country because contrary to its lack of natural resources, it is among the ten advanced countries of the world just because its people are hardworking, literate and wise. I have been to Singapore three times and I wish I can see it once more, at least. (my feelings) |

The city which impressed me a lot is Isfahan. It is located in central part of Iran. The city is built on a flat area. In fact, there are no high mountains around. (geographical position) I had heard about the attractions of Isfahan so many times that I was dying to visit it. When I first saw it, I was impressed by the magnificent river which runs through it. Isfahan is the only city in Iran which is bestowed by such a natural beauty. (outstanding feature) Besides the life-giving river, historical attractions of the city are universally famous. So I was totally impressed by the city and I adored it. (my feelings) |
